Life's coin has 'JOY' on both sides

Hello! Welcome to "How Can I Make It A Better World?"

All world one happy family.

Our world is full of opposites - night and day, good/bad, positive/negative. yin/yang.

But these are all attributes that belong to things or to ideas.

They do not belong to the true nature of our life.

Yet we have been brought up to believe that life can have two aspects, joy/sorrow, and we should be prepared to face either.

To graft an attribute to things or ideas onto our nature of life is akin to saying that a lemon has a bitter taste, so something quite dissimilar, say a yellow rubber ball, has a bitter taste.

The reality is that our life is a coin which has JOY stamped on both its side.

It is our upbringing to expect sorrow that we create sorrow and hardship in our life.

Experts like Gill Edwards and "The Attitude Guy" Sam Glenn say that when we change our thoughts and beliefs to expect joy and happiness, we, indeed, get joy and happiness.

I know this sounds too idealistic.

I myself have voiced (See Mon 26th April. 2010) how I may help the poor beggar in rags saying he has not eaten for three days, with knowledge like this.

But I want to believe these seemingly fairy tales that we create our own experiences, and want to plan my life based on that belief.

I'll let you know how I get along.

Wishing you all the beast, Shree-1.

Please Follow Macrofacts on Twitter as well.

Thanks.
