A Youthful Message

Hello, Welcome to "How Can I Make It A Better World?'

All world one happy family.

In the words of CNN, a world without any borders.

A YOUTHFUL MESSAGE:

I wish some one had explained to me, when I was in my teens, just starting out at life, that life is in truth, like a dream.

The Truth is that all life is like our own dream.

In a dream our own mind throws out images into space which our own body senses detect, and report back to our own mind as events happening outside the body.

Note that all the event apparently being acted out of our body, in an external world, are really only projections from our own mind.

It is only when in another state of awareness, the waking state, that we come to know of our other experiences as dreams.

Likewise, our waking life experiences are also our own mind's projections into space. Our body senses pick up those projections and report back to the same mind as if the occur in a world residing outside the body.

That is a Truth. A 'macrofact.'

Some persons can control the dreams they see when asleep.

That art, skill, can be learnt.

If we could learn that skill, and the related skill, of creating our own waking life experiences, we would be ale to live the life of our dreams.

This is the basis of us being able to create our own reality.

Armed with this knowledge, I would have learnt the skill of  producing the drama of my life as per my own desires.

The message for the youth of today is, "Learn this skill of controlling your own fate. The materials to learn are around you, if you will just look for them, please. Thanks."

Wishing you all joy and abundance.    Shree-1

It is a wonderful world.

Hello! Welcome to "How Can I Make It A Better world?"

   All world one happy family.

The title of this blog implies that the world needs a lot that needs improving. Worse, this thinking as to how I can make the world better overlooks all the wonderful things that do exist in this world.

May be I should focus on those nice things, and allow those nice things to expand to obliterate the not so nice aspects of our world.

This way I focus on the wonderful world that already is.

Louis Armstrong beautifully expresses all the nice things that already exist in the world.

I would add to that the natural wonders of the world, the sunrise, sunsets, lakes, rivers, mountains and fields.

Then are the wonderful people who make the world go around, the salt of the earth.

The helpful people wherever we seek service, in shops, or on our travels, or the unseen people who grow our food and protect our health and welfare.

The wonderful inventions of science, the computer, television, and the mobile phones are beyond expressions on their degree of miracles behind their existence.

All in all, it is first a wonderful world. Then, some aspects of our lives that may be improved so that our experiences in our lives can be more pleasing.

What about the  poor hungry homeless destitute who abound on the fringes of our cities and villages.

How can I, can we, help them?

May be the only way, because I, or we, will not have enough money to give them all to live a better economic standard of life, we can help them is to give these people an education that allows them to have belief in themselves, to better their lives. And to find joy in the situation they already are in, knowing that their efforts will bring better times for them.

Help with appropriate technology to provide them with work to produce goods and services that others in the same community may purchase from them will be the greatest help we can give them.

I welcome your thoughts on how we can make an already wonderful world, good for all of its citizens.

Wishing you joy and abundance,    Shree-1

90 days from now

Hello, welcome to "How can I Make It A Better World?"

All world one happy family.

90 days from now will you be totally new, rich with joy, happiness, success?

Study

Some amazing stuff here.

Have a serious look. It is your life.

We are 'dreaming' even when awake.

Hello, Welcome to "How Can I Make It A Better World?'
 All world one happy family.

Please note that jokes now appear in another web site.

You can read these at http://tinyurl.com/265o47r

We are 'dreaming' even when awake.

When dreaming, my mind projects a world, which my eyes and other senses pick up as events happening outside of me.

When in the dream state the events are as real to me, as the events that happen to me when I am awake.

It is only when I change my consciousness to another dimension that I become aware that my previous experiences were only a dream, all my own mental constructs, experienced as real by my mind when in that dream state.

Mystics have proclaimed, through the centuries past, that our waking state is also, in effect, a dream phenomena of our mind.

Our mind projects images, which our body senses report back to our mind as the world existing outside of us.

Science has no proof that our minds do this. So this knowledge of mind's ability, to create its own world that is our wakeful life, is not as common knowledge as is the fact that the earth spins on its axis, rather than the sun going around the earth, as seen by us.

In that light, it is comforting to read that in his book, "The Promise of Sleep" William C. Dement, author and pioneer in sleep research says "To certain parts of the brain, there is no difference between waking life and dreaming life" [page 299, Delacote Press, New York]

In the ancient Sanskrit language, this phenomena of the mind, projecting images out as in a dream is called "Vikshepa."

The world that is thus projected is called "maya" which may be translated as an "illusion".

The whole process, from vikshepa, to creation of maya, to our becoming aware of the maya in our mind (which projected those imagers) is called "leela."

From my point of view, if I accept that I "dream" my life, I can develop the skill of "dreaming" of the stuff that I want to happen in my life.

I can accept that I am the creator of what I experience. I blame no one for my troubles.

If I accept I am creator of my life, I am free to create the life of my dreams.

I wish you joy and abundance.

Is More Money the answer to all problems?

Hello, Welcome to "How Can I Make It A Better World?"

All world one happy family.

I have always berated myself for not being super rich, with money to spare beyond my own personal needs to assist the poor and the needy of the world.

I just saw the film "West is West"

A boy born and brought up in the UK, when he visits his father's village in Pakistan, where there are no city life-style mod-coms, soon says he is quite happy in the village, and does not want to return to the UK.

Does that mean that people in villages that I think I will help with money, are really happy as they are, in the life they are living, and that my spending money to give them additional comforts is not at all needed?

Then there is nothing I can do to make the world a better place.

The world is nice as it is.

Wishing you joy and abundance,    Shree-1
