Hello, Welcome to "How Can I Make It a better World?
All World One Happy Family.
A Joke:
A Hoover salesman knocked on the door of a village farmer.
He begain with his spill to the young farmer, telling of how wonderful his new carpet cleaner was.
The farmer inturrupted him, saying, "I already have a carpet cleaner"
The salesman was ready with his next pitch, "I can give you, Sir, a generous allowance for your old carpet cleaner, and give you a new lovely model instead."
The young man's eyes lit up at the thought of the bargain beauty he was to get, but then restrained himself, "I did promise to keep her for better or worse," he said.
Another joke: The undertaker was surprised to see yet another gentleman filing past the coffin. "Are you, Sir, one of the mourners?" he asked.
"Indeed I am," replied the man. "I was silly enough to lend the fool £1,000, and now I'll never get that back."
YOUR WORLD IS YOUR CREATION
It was some thirty years ago that I had read of the thoughts of Shri Raman Maharshi. He did state, very clearly, that one's waking world is as much a man's own creation as is his dream world.
My scientific young mind, of course protested vehemently against such notions. The dream world belonged to just the dreamer, whilst one's world when awake was shared by everyone else. One was temporary, the other was permanant for all times, and so on ..
I rejected the teachings of Shri raman Maharshi and busied myself with the job of making a living. Years and decades went by. I remained too busy to make a living to give any thughts to the fact that there may be a reality different to what I had perceived it to be; that I could mould my own world different to the one I had entranched myself in.
Now, in reitrement, I have come across the same philosophy put forward by self-development gurus as the one propounded by Shri Raman Maharshi.
I should have not rejected the thoughts of some one as enlightened about the true reality of our world as Shri Raman Maharshi. I now accept his sayings that each individual created his individual world.
Had I accepted the basic tenets of Shri Raman Maharshi I would have mapped out my world as that of a captain of commerce ruling the world, and responsible for massive philanthropies, and would have done so in the same time frame in which I just managed to make a living.
I still do not understand how my own world can be a projection of my own thoughts, in the same sense that I do not understand how digital technology, just on-offs of electrical currents, can carry voices over telephone networks, and bring razor sharp colour pictures to televisions. But as I accept the results of such unfathomable principles, I now accept that I can create my world.
And, in the system showed to me at a health resort in India in March this year,(see my blogs from March nonwards) I have the means by which I may create
the world I want.
My wish is that these truths and methods be taught in all schools together with algebra and history so that the young generaton can work out their own prosperous happy career, and be shown the methods to achieve that which they have planned for themselves.
I, for one, have penned out the world I want in each facet of my life - my health, my relations, my finances, my residence, my career, and so on. I will report to you how I get on with meeting my objectives using my new found knowledge.
I trust you will want to do something similar.
Wishing you every happiness, Shree-1
