The Qualities of a Global Citizen

Hello! Welcome to "How to Make It A Better World"
All world One Happy Family.

You may want to scroll right down to the beginnings of this blog - you will not find your time wasted. If you do, please let me know in the comment box in this blog.

A Joke: A farmer buys a sackful of seeds.
"Are the seeds guarranteed to grow?" he asks the seedman.
"Sure," says the shop keeper. "Just bring back the seeds that have not grown for a refund of those seeds."

Another Joke, just for the fun of it:

A mother-in-law is staying in the same house as the son-in-law.
"My house is your house," says the son-in-law.
"Well, get out of MY house then," shouts back the mother-in-law.

QUALITIES OF A GLOBAL PERFSON;

With acknowledgement for inspiration from a devotional song made popular by Mahatma Gandhi, I enumerate some of the qulities that today's global citizen will have.
Every one is equal in his eyes.
Treats all with respect.
Has a clear pure mind - no prejudices, no conceit, no trickery, no treachery, no criticism, no hatred. Just love and well wishes for all.
Be a good Samaritan, not to proove to himself/herself that he/she is a good person, but just because it is a natural thing to do. No pride or satisfaction from that deed.
Has the fortitude to accept good fortune, and bad luck with equanimity.
Is true to himself, and to others.
Has no evil intentions over the wealth of others. His wealth is earned by honest deeds.
Such a person will be at peace and happy with himself. He will radiate an aura of joy that will be apleasure to behold by all he comes into contact with.

Wishing you all the best, Shree-1
