Hello! Welcome to "How Can I Make It A Better World?"
All world one Happy Family
A Joke: Wife to husband, "Our new neighbours are rather strange. They have no car, no television, and hardly any furniture to speak of."
Husband, "I bet they have plenty of money."
I have great delight in welcoming a new reader of my blog residing in the USA.
As will be evident to any one surfing this blog from its very beginnings, in Oct. 09, I dedicate it to all the people the world over who are struggling to win over the hardships of day to day living.
Life has not been brought to us to survive a miserable time until it is taken away from us. We have been granted our minds so that we may create, as God does, our
environment, and thus enjoy each moment of our day.
LIVING IN THE PRESENT MOMENT
I read recently about a woman who was, whilst preparing breakfast, thinking of the lunch, and whilst at lunch, thinking of her plans for the afternoon. During the afternoon, she was worried about the journey to the cinema. At the cinema she fell asleep because she has had an exhausting day.
All through the day she lived in the future. She did not feel the gentle progress of the knife it it cut through the bread in the morning, nor the aroma of her afternoon lunch, or the pleasure of food entering and filling a hungry
stomach.
I for, one, am enjoying even this love of labour, the appearance of letters on my computer screen, as I tap the key board. (A great improvement, because until I had this computer cleared of, now I know, four antivirus programmes in it, there used to be agonising delay between my tapping a letter key, and its appearance on the screen.)
Wishing you all the best. Shree-1
