Why do we suffer shattered dreams?

Hello! Welcome to How Can I Make It A Better World.

Here we, you and I, get together to think up of ways by which we can make this, our world, a better place to live in.

As a think tank, we also note our thoughts on to why our ideas and wishes do not come to fruition.

Earlier I expressed my concern that the reality I experienced, my illness, was against all my beleifs that our thoughts create our experiences.

It is important that we find a theory to explain the gap between what one wishes for, and what one recives in life.

Once we know the missing link, then all of us would be able to live our hopes, desires, and dreams. There will be no shattered dreams towards the end of one's life.

So, please do join in this think tank to suggest your thoughts on how the gap may be bridged.

Then we all will have a better world for all of us.

A few jokes: 1) "Can you swim?" asks a school boy to his friend.

"Sometimes" is the reply.

"What do you mean, sometimes you can swim, and sometimes not?"

"I can swim when in water, but cannot swim when out of water."

2) A film director asks his hero to jump into a swimming pool.

"But, Sir, I cannot swim," protests the actor.

"That's not a problem," says the direcor. "I'll have all the water removed from the swimming pool."

Wishing you all the best, Shree-1.
