Hello & welcome to How Can I Make It A Better World?
Earlier this year I found myself seating in a big aeroplane, flying from London to Dubai.
There was a small tv screen in front of me, on the back of the seat in front. The screen told me I was flying at some 550 mph, at an altitude of 35,000 ft.
Just then an air stewardess brough me my lunch, a trayful of lovely food, my main course piping hot.
As I enjoyed the meal, and the lovely music on the audio channel, one of a vast range of entertainmets available, I could not help think of the miracle that was behind that moment I was experiencing.
When even a tiny pin, dropped from my desk falls down, here we were, some 300 of us, all with their 20 or 30 kg of baggage, each, comfortably floating effortlessly way above the clouds,
at incredible speeds.
How was it all made possible. By the ingenuity of generations of men before me.
Indeed, they have already made the world a wonderful place to live in.
Let us not do anyting to destroy this wonderful world that has already been created by others for us.
A joke to end with: As the ticket inspector on a train came up to a passenger, the passenger fumbled through all his pockets, repeatedly, trying to find his ticket. The inspector quietly watched the passenger's antics, but then helpfully hinted, "You have not looked, Sir, in that shirt pocket there."
The passenger says, "I loathe looking into that pocket. It is my last hope. If the ticket is not in there, then I will loose all hope, and that will be the end of me."
Wishing you all the best, Shree-1
