Make Mind Win Over Matter

Hello, Welcome to "How Can I Make It A Better World?"

All World One Happy Family

Sticking with the theme that, to make the world a better place, I should make myself better, I continue with examining ways by which I can overcome difficulties that prevents me from being wealthier than I am.

I am well aware of the injunction from the Bible, "What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them"

The System I have shown in my recent blogs also ask me, once I have uttered my words, "So be it. It is done. This is my sincere wish." to go on with my life fully believing that my wish has been, or is being, granted.

That is a difficult concept to train the mind to believe in.

All my senses give information to my mind as to the true nature of things.
I have bills to pay which will eat up my bank balance. My Bank statement tells me how much it is. My life style tells me what I am worth. How can I believe myself to be worth a lot more?
If I cannot make believe for what it is I have asked for in my prayer, or in the order to my overself, I cannot meet one important condition of the process, and thus my prayers will go unanswered, and my overself will fail me.

The only way, it seems to me to overcome this hurdle is to develop the imagination of a child. I have in mind the picture of a child in a playground pretending to be an aeroplane. He is whirling around the playground, with his arms outstretched, and swaying his body sideways as he takes a corner.

His senses tell his mind that he is on the ground, moving his feet to run along, but in his mind he ignores them to be able to continue with his imagination of being an aeroplane.

I have seen children playing at a toy at a fair, truly imagining they are riding a motor cycle. They twist an imaginary throttle, and make the acceleration sounds of a motorbike. Their mind is ignoring the signals from the senses that they are stationery on a wooden toy.

I will have to develop that sense of imagination to make my mind overcome the reality I sense, to be able to believe that my new state I wish for is in existence.

Needless to say, I will have to keep doing all that my immediate present situation demands, much as the child who has become an aeroplane moves his legs to keep running on the ground.

Can I do that? It will need a new skill from me. It will need a lot of practice and determination from me.

But then, am I not determined to make myself wealthier?

Wishing you every happiness, Shree-1
