Hello & Welcome to "How Can I Make It A Better World?'
All world one happy family.
I walked home along a path that crossed a forest.
The sun was setting.
In the dull light, I almost stepped on a snake across my path.
I sort of just stopped dead in my path, quickly jumped over it and ran all the way home.
When I reached home, I found that my Dad was just leaving to go to the village, across along the same path that I had come by.
I suggested he take a torch, and told him of the large snake I had just escaped from.
On return ing home late that night, my Father told me that he saw no snakes along the road.
He did come across, though a rope lying along the path not far d=from home.
Perhaps I had mistaken that rope for a snake.
Was I lying, or was I telling a truth when I said I had seen a snake?
This is a very important issue when confronted with situations that cause conflict, between family members, between work colleagues, between countries?
I could be firmly believing in the truth of my convictions, an d be prepared to fight for them, when I could have been wrong all along.
Who would convince me that my true beliefs are, in fact, wrong? How would they do that?
Wishing you joy and abundance, Shree-1
