All world one happy family.
Action A results in action B. What was first action?
When playing a game of billiards, I hit one ball, which hits another which roles into a hole.
I win. I rejoice.
What was the first action, and what was the result which followed that action?
Easy. It was my hitting the first ball. The result was my rejoicing.
True only as long as that consideration of cause and effect does not include me.
But to obliterate me from that equation would be a gross error.
Because I am the one who is playing the game. I am the one living my life.
If I include me in that equation, then the first action was my THOUGHT that I want to rejoice a win, the RESULT.
Other activities followed, to seem as if the result was the last action.
Our logic above clearly shows that the result I wanted was the first action.
All our life is like that.
We 'dream up' our experiences,. Then align the physical things around our thought, that includes our bodies, to create the experience we wanted.
A clear explanation that we create our own reality.
Confused?
Is it because you do not end up hitting a billiard ball such that another does not role into a hole as you wanted it to? You lost.
There are other factors which came into play for that sorrow of defeat you had to feel.
The example of the win in my game was only an illustration to understand the reality of our life.
That we do indeed create our own experiences.
We will consider later as to why our experiences does not match up with our [apparent] desires.
