Hello, and welcome to "How Can I Make It A Better World?"
All world one happy family.
A joke: An old man walking in a park came across a little boy playing with his dog.
'That is a lovely dog you have,' the old man said to the boy. 'What is his name?' he asked, in a friendly sort of way.
The little boy thought for a moment or two, and replied, 'I do not know his name. I call him Rover.'
WRITE WITH YOUR NON-DOMINANT HAND.
One simple way to improve your self is to write a journal of your daily events with the hand that you do not not normally write with, your non-dominant hand.
You could also draw and paint using this hand of yours that you do not use when signing your name.
Doing so certainly slows down your thinking, allowing you to relax, and carefully formulate your thoughts and feelings.
It also 'exercises' the non-doniant half of your brain, allowing your creativity to flow through more easily than otherwise.
I owe this trick to the author Dr. Lucia Capacchione.
She introduces herself in her books as a psychologist, and an art therapist.
She heals her patients by this method, saying that using the non-dominant hand frees the child in us, who loves to play and to discover new things. It is that child in us, buried under our adult dominance, that has become sullen. That anger of the child is reflected sometimes in our ill health or bad habits.
By freeing the child to express his joy again, the adult is healed, according to Fr. Capaccione.
This is so simple a method to try out, with no risk of any loss, and, in any case, being an enjoyable task of writing a daily diary, that it certainly is worth a try.
I had been thinking of blogging thus for many months. Soon after starting a diary with my left hand writing (I write with my right hand) I began this blogging, from October 09.
Was there a connection between the two events?
No body will ever be able to prove if there was, or was not, a connection.
Wishing you can create for yourself a life of love, joy, and abundance. Shree-1
