Problem is known. What is the solution?

We know the problem. 

The problem is that there is evil in the world. Terrorism, suicide bombings that kill and maim innocent people, gruesome beheadings, burning people alive, rapes, murders, stealing and looting. 

The obvious solution to evil is to fight the evil. To capture the terrorist, to destroy or punish the evil doer. 

But we know the problem inherent in this solution.

By wanting to destroy evil, we, too are becoming evil.

Being evil against evil only begets more evil.

That much is clearly known.

So, what is the true solution against evil?

One solution would be that all people the world over should share the same patriotism for the world as a whole, not just for their religion, group, or the nation.

Love should be the fundamental feeling everyone has.

Love for themselves, for all life, and all things on the earth.

Then there will be no aggression, and counter aggression.

Peace can prevail.

One way this utopian state can be realised is if every child is taught that all world is one singular wholeness. It originates from one's own mind.

If an individual is at peace, his world will be at peace.

When all individuals are at peace, the world will be at peace.

May be I can start making the world a better place by myself being at peace. I can be at peace by replacing thoughts of unease, hatred, revenge, by those of ease, love, compassion, etc.
